Road trip begins today! well, it will if I ever get things packed into the car! but first to pack the bags! It's like packing diaper bags for adults with all the stuff I think we just might need. And do I have the feeling of avoiding laundry for the entire time? why can't I just pack a couple of things???? I really don't even know the answers!
Kip will be here at house and a sweet friend will keep the yard from looking anymore jungle-like than it already is!
I have never been savvy enough or had time enough, to blog while traveling BUT I will take pictures and share when we are back!
Kipper updated our GPS. It's first since 2008. Last year it did give us a wrong turn advice and we were off track for quite some time. That coupled with The Hubster Man and his insistence he knows the way... to save the marriage I comply... and we get lost for hours. Every single time!! Hopefully we will not get lost with his navigating and fighting with the GPS and we will be all sweetie-like to each other! 'Cause it's true- we do love each other and love being together. Well, the one exception would be road map debates that get fired up!! Anyhow that all remains to be seen as to the future.
He is still lamenting and apologizing for the fact we needed 4 new tires and he hadn't checked them. Kipper hadn't noticed them needing attention either. It's easy to understand and really, it's okay. All 3 of us are used to things being as they were and not as they are. I'm just thankful we have 4 new tires. Not happy that our airbag is one on the roulette wheel list. hopefully we don't end up with some blowout that we get a shrapnel blast!! and they don't even have the airbags available and have replaced the replacement!! and it will be years before they have them!
Kip washed the car and vacuumed it, so really- things are ready...it's just the humans that are lolly-gagging!
Be sure and watch Elder Perry's funeral on Friday morning! it will be a wonderful event. Oh, I will miss that marvelous man!!!!
