The Tower of London moat is filled with 888,246 handmade blood-red ceramic poppies in
honor of those that gave their lives in war. take a minute and look at the link and the minute or so video. also you can see a closeup of the individual flowers. what you see in this picture is just a portion of the project. They are leaving it up for 4 years. Incredibly beautiful. Poignant. Heart wrenching. Do take a couple of minutes and check it out. Please.
