We women are amazing creations in power and strength and courage. At the same time we are tender and gentle.
This is most prevalent when I see the nurturing MotherHearts that we each have. We need not bear a child to love children and have impact in their lives.
The women in our Ward are incredible women. I'm sure you feel the same about your Ward.
Meet Celise. A young woman with an old soul. In my day she would have been called the MotherEarth type.
She tills the earth. She tends to goats and bees.
She was organic before the word was popular!
And she Mother Hen's her own chicks, with their little sun-kissed cheeks, from playing outdoors.
There are other Mothering souls that I rub shoulders with, on a regular basis of admiration, but today my thoughts are with Celise who labored long and hard to bring her little son into the world.
