Tucked away

Our Ward is appreciative of our freedoms, our country, our way of life.  I say that, judging by Sunday testimonies, and also knowing how several people feel about political happenings from visits or just hearing them expound in one form or another.  I came home and read 2 Nephi 1  here

The fact that our promised land/chosen country was kept hidden away until the timing was aligned, in a just so pattern, has always interested me.  I just like the feeling of our gorgeous land tucked away until the time of it's destiny has arrived.  I find it exciting to know that we are living on an important part of the puzzle.  The place, the piece, our country...it was prophesied and that to me is an exciting bit of data!  We are witnessing the puzzle picture come together and be completed.  We are a part of it!

Sunday found me appreciating being a resident of our country and remembering--  those of us with the truth....need to live it, stand up for it... and be able to explain ourselves to those that don't understand.
